2009 Asia Pacific Federation of
Architects and Interior Designers
(IAI) Design Competition
A delegation of Judges from Chicago which included Donna Robertson, Professor and Dean of the College of Architecture at Illinois Institute of Technology, Joseph Rosa, John H. Bryan Curator of Architecture and Design,The Art Institute of Chicago and Mitchell M. Obstfeld, Founder and Owner of I4design Media International, traveled to Hangzhou, China in October to attend the Asia Pacific Federation of Architects and Interior Designers (IAI) Design Competition. Architects and Interior Designers from 18 countries worldwide entered this prestigious competition with over 1500 entries in six categories of design.
With the formation of the North American branch of the Asia Pacific Federation of Architects and Interior Designers (IAI) headquartered in the Zhou B Arts Center here in Chicago, several North American firms entered the competition in 2009.
